Severus turned the note over in his hands.  “They’re going to be bonded?”

“Apparently, I bought us some appropriate clothing for a bonding ceremony on a beach in Greece.  I also acquired a portkey.”

“You what?!”

“They could probably use some support so I thought we could go and be their best men.”

“Potter said they had agreed to not tell anyone so, of course, he owled you.  They obviously don’t want anyone there.”

“I imagine they don’t want anyone who would try to dissuade them.”

“Perhaps.”

“I owled Narcissa.”  Remus said quietly.

“Are you daft man?”

“I boy’s mum should be there when he gets married.”

Severus snorted. “Well you’d know about that wouldn’t you?”

“She was there for me even though she knew it was wrong.  You know how wrong and the rest was” Remus shrugged.  “In the newspaper.”

“So you believe we should attend?”

“Yes.”  Remus stated firmly.  He reached for one of the packages.  “Have a look.”

“White?!”  Severus bellowed.

“Well it is Greece and it will still be hot.”

“Absolutely, not.”  Severus crossed his arms over his chest.

Remus sighed.  “Check that package.”

Severus ripped it open carefully.  “Black with white embroidery?”

“It’s a simple tunic and trousers.  The embroidery is only at the neck.”

Severus continued to stare at the clothes.  “Won’t we be under-dressed for a wedding?”

“On a beach remember?”

Severus harrumphed.

“So we’re going?”

“I cannot let my godson marry without anyone to support him.”
