Title: Not to be Denied Characters or Pairing: Lupin/Snape Word Count: 305 Rating: PG-13 Warnings: No sex yet Challenge: Mad/wank Author's Notes: part of a series…I think/hope!! "Lupin, you are completely daft!" Severus struggled to push himself away from the table in the Wizard Rehabilitation Center. "Sit down, Severus." Remus soothed. "Simply mad then?" Severus let himself settle back into his chair. "I am not mad, daft or otherwise impaired..." Remus began. "Lycanthropy notwithstanding?" Remus sighed. "I simply would like to date you and see what comes of it." "As I indicated, I'm quite heterosexual." Severus stared interestedly as his fingernails. "I've never actually seen any proof." Remus responded calmly. "You're a perverted voyeur if you imagine I would let you watch." "Please indulge me for a moment and regale me with the vast list of your girlfriends." "Fine. There was Lily." Severus stopped. "A friend certainly, but did you ever have a date?" Remus queried. "It's really none of your concern." Severus lifted his chin haughtily. "Alright, let's try a different tactic. Who do you think about when you wank?" "Lupin! I never! That's…I…" Severus sputtered. "You never wanked? You were a fifteen year old boy once." Remus scoffed gently. "That was more than twenty years ago…" "And recently?" "I have been rather busy." Severus sniffed. "There was a war on." "Perhaps your tastes have changed." Remus suggested. "You did appear to be quite interested in certain party's arses in Muggle clothing. "You have quite a vivid imagination if you think I was ogling you!" "Actually, you were ogling Bill Weasley, but he's unavailable and I do have a nice arse. Not as nice as Bill's, of course, but I do have other attributes to recommend me." Severus' eyes widened. Remus gave Severus a salacious look. "I'd show you, but…" He shoved his hands in his pockets and pulled his trousers tightly across his hips. It looked as if Severus might actually drool. Remus felt a small smile curve his lips.
