Title: At Home Pairing: Snape/Percy Rating: PG Summary:He looks at home here, a flaming head amongst the turned leaves. Notes: My first time writing this pair, which is odd, as I've put him with every other Weasley boy! Thanks for the opportunity, snapelike!
At Home
He looks at home here, a flaming head amongst the turned leaves. He fits in with this season of colour whereas I am a dark shadow, hovering.
Sensing my gaze on his body, he glances up, brown eyes full of compassion to make up for the distaste in his expression. He is never comfortable when I stare. For all his brashness, his fastidious nature, his blatant bossiness, Percy Weasley isn't comfortable in his own shell. My lingering eyes discomfit him and in turn the tight line of his mouth discomfits me.
He is almost too thin to be out in this wind. It rattles around his bony frame and lifts away his scarf. It lifts his hair, too; it is a wild riot dancing upon his head. His glasses have slipped to the end of his nose.
I do not even know what I am doing, or what I want from him, when my hand reaches for his and slips into his palm. Such a touch should not caress my soul as it does.
I squeeze his fingers; he looks sharply up again, blushing.
