Title: Haunted Pairing: Severus/Remus Rating: R (For suggestiveness) Summary: In a haunted house at dusk... Notes: Happy Birthday, Lore. :)
The structure of the old house creaked as the evening wind breathed against it.
The long-anticipated figure at the bedroom door caused Remus' chest to clench and his head to spin.
A familiar crease of annoyance formed between Severus' eyebrows as he entered and took in the empty bottles of Wolfsbane, abandoned in a messy heap next to a shredded robe. Remus smiled to himself. Severus could act as displeased as he liked, but he never missed a meeting.
Clothes fell away as fingers and lips traced warm skin. Severus' every touch burned him from the inside out, brilliant heat rupturing through his body. Every time they parted even an inch, Remus felt the loss keenly, leaving a desperate ache for more.
Outside the sky embraced the house, hues of yellows and reds seeping through the windows.
This was his sanctuary, his prison; the house in which he haunted.
The children outside screeched and laughed, constantly reminding him of the monster inside, although the surrounding scars on the walls and tattered furniture were enough.
But when Severus was with him, pressing their bodies together, filling every pour with his essence, the world faded away until all that remained was them.
