Title: A Bit of a Trick for a Treat Pairing: Ron/Pansy Rating: PG-13 Warnings: bit of a fright Summary: Pansy believed Ron when he said trick-or-treating would be fun. She shouldn't have. Pansy took a turn around the next corner and stumbled, breathless, through some bushes. The branches tore at her clothing, a black and orange striped jumpsuit that Ron said would look fantastic, although now instead of a flawless pussycat, she was starting to resemble a street kneazle who’d gotten in too many fights.
She wasn’t thinking about that, though. She was too busy running for her life.
She heard footsteps following after. “Dammit. I thought I’d lost them.” She continued onward in the dark, knowing she couldn’t cast magic here in the middle of Muggle London.
“Why did I listen to Weasley?” she berated herself as she tripped on a tree root. “‘Come trick-or-treating,’ he said. ‘It’ll be fun,’ he said.” Well, the trick had been played on her. So many monsters….
A beast stepped out of the shadows, straight into her path.
It reached for her shoulders.
She screamed, trying to fight away.
“Pansy, hold up! It was just a really wicked costume that kid had.” Ron’s voice tried to be reassuring, but her heart was pounding too hard.
“Fuck it, Ronald, just take me home!”
He gathered her in close and kissed her forehead. “Your treat is granted.”
