Autumn leaves crackled and crunched beneath bare and stocking-clad feet. A chilly breeze set leaves scraping over the path of two young witches.
Laughter sounded above the symphony of leaves. 'You're starkers, Loony. I can't feel my toes.'
'Not starkers yet.' Pansy felt a tug at their linked hands. Down the path they went, away from the racket of another Ministry party.
Soon they were surrounded by pumpkins as tall as their shoulders. Pansy made to laugh, her thoughts bubbling like her champagne, but two warm lips suddenly covered hers.
'Shh. We're not alone.'
Luna pointed; Pansy stared and smirked.

'Last wager I make with you, Potter.'
'So you said last time, Malfoy. Pay up and go down.'
Luna and Pansy watched from behind a pumpkin, Luna with a finger to her beautiful pink lips: shh! It was a valiant attempt to curb Pansy's inclination for misconduct. It was doomed to fail. Pansy silently positioned her wand: a ghost erupted forth with a blood-curdling scream.
Draco bolted; Potter halted its course, wordless and wandless, before quickly following after. 'Draco, you pillock, it wasn't real!'
'Now we're alone.'
Luna sighed, lit the nearest jack-o-lantern, and kissed Pansy in the flickering candlelight.
