Title: Half a Nay Characters: Minerva, Severus Rating: PG Warnings: silly decisions while drinking? Summary: There were certain things one should not do when inebriated, and agreeing to a transfiguring battle was definitely right on the top of that list. Notes: I really hope you like this!
There were certain things one should not do when inebriated, and agreeing to a transfiguring battle was definitely right on the top of that list. But alas, that was how Minerva found herself this fine evening, surrounded by friends, members of the Order, standing toetotoe with Severus with a flask in her hand, contents now brazenly swallowed.
Also on that list of things to not do was brewing potions whose recipes were so meticulous it took a master to complete under the best of circumstances. But that was thinking for when one was sober.
Which she was definitely not.
“Ha!” she yelled, pointing towards Severus as his attempt at a magical transfiguration
failed miserably. She fell into a slurred fit of laughter at the sight of him, half man half goat.
“I win!” she said gleefully, pointing to herself as if to clarify with the others.
“Someone get her a mirror,” Severus nayyed.
Albus laughed from the other side of the bonfire, waving his hand to conjure a mirror for her.
She turned and looked.
And tore out laughing, doubling over at the sight of her face. Half Minerva, half Severus.
She’d used his hair to finish the potion and she looked positively ridiculous.
