Title: Draco Malfoy, Muggle-Threatening Magician Pairing: Harry/Draco Rating: G Disclaimer: I don't own anything having to do with Harry Potter (except the books and movies). Summary: Harry takes Draco trick-or-treating for the first time. Draco doesn't really get it. Notes: Thanks to _ and _ for the beta!
If Harry had known how little Draco knew about trick-or-treating... Well, he'd have brought a Pensieve phial to properly document the occasion. The adorable git actually tried to sneak around the back of the first house.
"Front," Harry corrected. "We're not pinching it, Malfoy."
But when they arrived on the porch and a man in a gruesome mask carrying an axe answered the door, Draco jumped back onto the steps and promptly thrust his wand toward the man's throat.
"Lower your weapon!" he demanded tremulously.
Harry touched Draco's forearm and gently pushed it down, hoping he wouldn't have to Obliviate yet another one.
A girl in a cat costume, waiting patiently for her turn, tugged on Draco's robes. "You say trick or treat, and they give you sweets. He's dressed like a mean man, but he's not. It's all right."
Draco frowned but nodded.
"He'd like two, please," Harry told the axe-murderer.
"Aren't you a little old to be dressing up like a magician, mate?" the axe wielder ventured.
Harry wrapped Draco's arm up in his own. Draco's frown softened, and Harry's heart swelled. "He's brilliant," Harry said.
He winked at the little black cat and led his lover away.
