The Dungeons

October 6th, 2012

07:08 am - [info]cauldron_brew - In the master bedroom of Lake Cottage

The room is filled with white roses and an antique enchanted glass case from Potsdam holding a raspberry cane that continually blooms.

08:20 am - [info]quidditch_prat - In the dining room of Lake Cottage

Next to Draco's plate at breakfast is a leatherbound scrapbook filled with pictures of Lily, Scorpius and Imogen as babies and toddlers, along with a small posey of dark, almost black, velvety red roses.

10:43 am - [info]lilibet - In the library of Lake Cottage

On the desk is a vase of white lilies, a small crystal dish filled with Belgian chocolates, and a tiny bottle of Endymion cologne from Penhaligons of London as well as a handmade birthday card signed by Lily.

11:42 am - [info]water_scorpion - [On the sidetable next to Draco's favourite chair in the conservatory]

[Inside a hand-painted card, in Imogen's handwriting] For the best Father in every known universe,

[Then, in Scorpius's handwriting] or certainly the best Father we have. Wishing you many happy returns on your birthday,

[In Imogen's handwriting] and everything you could possibly wish for,

[In Scorpius's handwriting] at least that it's possible to actually get.

[In Imogen's handwriting] Much MUCH love, much more than Pius lets on, and loads of kisses from your Imogen,

[In Scorpius's handwriting] and Scorpius.

[Underneath the card is a box containing a painted glass paperweight in the shape of a waterlily.]

10:06 pm - [info]acid_pops - About three dragon-paces southeast of the west entrance of the Slytherin common room

*hushed voices*

I swear there was another viaduct to the old third kitchens that came out over... ah.

10:57 pm - [info]umbridges_army - Note attached to a neatly wrapped parcel delivered by a Hogwarts house elf to the Headmaster's desk

Headmaster,

I understand it is the birthday of your paramour. Please pass these to him with my compliments.

By the by, I would appreciate the chance to meet with you to discuss my teaching schedule and matters pertaining to curriculum when it is convenient to you. I continue to believe that extending the basic History of Magic course to cover the whole of the nineteenth century leaves entirely too little time to fully elucidate the more vital matters of human-goblin relations in the first half of the thirteenth century.

Cordially,

Professor Binns

*The parcel, once unwrapped and unshrunk, proves to contain a fair copy of every document in the Hogwarts archive pertaining to any member of the Malfoy family.*
