Mr Scamander,

I wanted to personally extend my apologies to you. I am now, and have been for years, a fan of your writing and was part of the campaign headed by my father to request the lost chapters of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them be printed in the new edition some years ago. I am also quite fond of the Crumple-Horned Snorkak column and would never permanently banish it from the pages of the Quibbler. It was quite unfortunate that it had to be cut last week, but rest assured that it will be returning this week and will return to it's bimonthly schedule. Also, there is an upcoming feature on the Crumple-Horned Snorkak and I would like to extend an invitation to you to be part of it. Your knowledge of magical beasts is superlative and we at the Quibbler would be honoured to have your opinion.

Also, and this is quite off the subject, I found myself talking about your grandson last night with my husband. I remember him fondly from school, and I hope that you'd pass on my best wishes to Rolf and my sincere regret that he could not attend the wedding.

RE: General election and by-election

It's confirmed for Thursday, August 27. General election for the Office of Minister and the open Wizengamot seats, coordinated with the Office of the Prime Minister for the upcoming by-election for our seat in the House of Commons. He wants to review the press release and the list of publications before it is sent out. I need it on my desk before end of day.

The Minister has been in conversation with a number of potential candidates but nothing that can be confirmed in the release.

I know it looks like a long list, but it's all well within your capabilities. And be warned, if you get caught in one of the traps again, you'll have to wait until I get back tomorrow morning to be let out, unless you can manage it on your own.
