Severus:
1. I assume you have the fireworks well in hand. This
is one of those occasions when silence means consent.
2. I think we should invite all the Hogwarts students. It will be a pleasant end of term outing for them and quite appropriate too.
3. I will be leaving the children with you on Monday until at least three o'clock. The elves will be very busy and I need to be in town without the children as I will be buying some gifts for Lily, I think she's feeling a little slighted. And you know that Harry is always at work these days.
Harry:
1. I expect you to be home more often this week as there is so much to do. The mermen wish to discuss the water display and I would rather leave it to you. Issy has it from some lake creature or other that there may have been a nixie sighting in the lake and I would like you to handle it.
2. Do something special with Lily this week. She wants entertaining. It is hardly my fault if the celebrations of her first birthday were not quite what they should have been and as that is your fault I think it is also your responsibility to cheer her up.
3. As I've barely seen you this is your opportunity to add to the guest list. I had Mopsy bring a copy of the invitation to your office but received not one comment. Severus's naturally do not bear repeating.
I have given small tasks to my parents and indeed even to Nymphadora and Marcellus and they all seem quite willing to do their part.
