Subject: Re: Cakes and Plates

I think that the second set of plates will keep them from fading away against the background of the white tablecloths, Luna, though Mrs Weasley does bring up a good point. Perhaps there's a middle ground that you initially dismissed?

I think you'd be much better off with a traditional cake, but if one must have such strong colour on the cake, it should certainly be more subtle than those choice, and as much as I admire Molly's choices, all that red will clash with your groom's hair, and you really must be careful of that, As blue works with both of your complexions and your bouquet is blue, perhaps it's better to settle on a single colour for your accent. Do consider the last that I've attached if you do decide to go with a colour. My personal preference is the one in the middle that I've posted that makes use of both flowers and fruit and maintains a delightful traditional flair.

Luna,

I don't know if you are coming in tomorrow, and you had the meeting with your solicitor this evening, so I don't expect you back at the office. The tins you ordered arrived today. I ran through and the count is right. The labels also came up from printing earlier this week. They're fine and I put them in the box before I resealed it. Also, in the wedding department (and can we talk about this? I mean the wedding plans aren't really related to the Quibbler are they? It's not really in my job description...) quite a few people have approached me about where you're registered? And Char just wants to make sure that she can bring Thomas? I didn't know she had a little boy. And the last thing in regards to the wedding details. I've received confirmation from the watchmaker/engraver and the watches will be completed for your brother and Professor Weasley by the end of the month.

I've also sent along the paperwork that hasn't been completed for the Quibbler that needs to be signed and sent in by Monday since you won't be in on the weekend due to the Quidditch match. All respect for Professor Weasley and his Gryffindors, but I do hope that your Ravenclaws trounce them!

Eddie
