About This Fest:

A Harry Potter slash festival where fan-writers and fan-artists can come together and share their love of fics and art featuring characters suffering from, recovering from, dealing with , or simply living with Disfigurement, Injury, Disability, and/or Illness.

Fest Timeline:

Prompting Opens: Jan 10th

Just to clear things up:

Disfigurement: We will accept fics where Harry gets a large scar on his face just as we will accept fics where half his face is burned.
Illness: We will accept fics where Harry catches the flu just as we will accept fics where Harry becomes terminally ill.
Disability: We will accept fics where a curse causes Harry to lose his sight for month just as we will accept fics where Harry is permanently blind.
Injury: We will accept fics where Harry breaks his arm just as we would accept fics where he loses his leg.

Just as illnesses and disabilities and injuries vary in terms of severity in the real world, they'll vary that way in this fest, too.

We are also accepting fics where, upon the start, the character has already learned to deal and cope with their DIDI. Or maybe they're still in the recovery stages. Or maybe their DIDI is new and still affects them greatly. Maybe the character's DIDI affects the people around them, or maybe it doesn't. Maybe the person's DIDI takes control of their life, and maybe it didn't.
