Free-spirited Arabella is a refreshing delight! Here she's a woman not merely a squib, to see her portrayed as unconventionally as in canon but with such a strong sense of self is just sexy.
That she's so wise and accepting to the ways of cats and men is fabulous. I loved this bit. It didn't seem to occur to him that she wouldn't sit here mooning over him like a schoolgirl. After all, she had been doing an awful lot of looking after him, and might like a break, not to mention a garage free of hippogriff dung. Wizards, she thought, were just like cats, sure they were the center of the universe and sure they were superior to all other life forms. It would be funny if they weren't so deadly serious.
A lovely, well-written story that makes me almost like Sirius but truly love Arabella. Well done!
