Loves: - Snape, whether lover or friend, if he's included, I'm delighted. Pre or within series is fine, so are ghost or portrait Snape for the canon afficionados, otherwise, to me, Snape lives on and I don't need it explained how or why unless you wish to. I love snark and snarl, but don't love evil or irredeemable Snape portrayals. - virginal or not very experienced male with experienced female, older or younger. I love it if she's older or his age. I ADORE it if she's younger. - first times, including the awkwardness and angst - angst - I adore hurt/comfort from merely angsty to full on non-con w/torture & humiliation (magical restraint, on display, object insertion, forced to climax are all good under the more extreme of this) but don't forget the comfort/healing part is all I ask and I don't mind if comfort comes from another character - non-con and dub-con that gets made better by the end or at least has a hopeful end - love zaftig characters kept that way and even having their rondure appreciated - desperate UST and sex, so excited they reach climax too soon or even in their clothes - frottage, intercrural, handjobs, bj's, tit-fucks, all forms of sex besides standard intercourse - love unseen moments within canon - love bridging scenes between moments we already know or can infer - love when characters come to an understanding or grow at ease or grow to love one another - love stories where they must work together despite having a bad history or misunderstandings - love moments of understanding between Order members or battle survivors, maybe a pair of Order members or war survivors meeting years after the battle in a moment of loneliness or desperation or fatigue and something happening - I adore fics that handle people's hang-ups and neuroses in a sensitive fashion. PTSD? Addiction? Plain old chronic nightmares? - characters relating how they have reached a particular point or understanding - I adore cliches. They do not bother me either in reading or in writing, so feel free to use one or more. Forced marriage? Read on! Shag or else? Please!
