Oh my, this story makes me so happy. I'm a complete sucker for stories that make the real world and the wizarding world feel like they're really next door to each other, and this hit that narrative weakness hard.
Xiomara is an absolute gem, and so is Minerva. I love Albus's letter, and I especially like the idea of Xiomara mentoring queer students.
(Also, so many bonus points for explaining Hooch's name in such a believable manner, and for the William McGonagall reference. *g*)
