I really enjoyed this, Mystery Author! I've read stories of Amelia and Severus as handler and spy before, but never one where they are married. It makes sense in many ways that two unconventional people, each needed protections of a sort, would approach such a thing from a practical perspective. But it saved them both in the end and there was great fondness and perhaps a calm love like a deep-flowing river by the finish of your tale. I love, too that you made Amelia a Slytherin; there were only a few that JKR, very grudgingly, allowed to be anything other than evil or a passive party to evil, which sucked imho. I love it when characters are allowed to break out of their pidgeonholes!
