I think you've done the impossible. You made me feel sympathy for and actually LIKE Peter Pettigrew! Incredible. :)
And Mundungus... I loved how gentle he was with Peter. How he encouraged him not to listen to the rest of the Marauders, not to believe their propaganda that he was worthless.
You capture the feeling of being an outsider very well here, too. Poor Peter.
How lovely that these two midfits found some pleasure with each other, however brief. :)
