There were two lines in particular that actually had me applauding as I read:
He couldn’t stop the swell of hope any more than he could have the flood of worries which had precipitated Severus’ intervention. Great man, Severus Snape.
This just...captures Hagrid's voice better than anything.
And:
Hagrid’s hair was standing practically on end, which was a sight to see,
PLEASE SOMEBODY MAKE ART OF THIS!!!
Seriously, the tone of this story is magnificent, and I'm just pervy enough to want to see the sex scene that comes right after.
AND I love your Luna, your Severus, your Minerva. I love Severus's account of Minerva telling him off, and how Hagrid repurposed it for his own ends.
