This is beautifully done. The pov is spot on and perfectly Petunia. I love the details about how she reacts, how she needs to keep order, how she tamps down her old wants/desires. I also love that she's protecting Vernon, the innocent one. And how in her own way she's the strongest of the family, keeping them safe the only way she knows how. The scene with Lily was infuriating and perfect. Lily always drives me mad but you captured their differences in personality so well. And Severus, oh, Severus. My heart was just breaking for him. How he keeps trying to get a message to Lily through Petunia, how bleak and grey his little hidden hide-out was, how beautifully innocent (in a way) he was and the longing. Oh my. A moving, lovely story.
