This is one of those lovely, lyrical stories that says as much in silences and elisions as it does in what's expressed, which is particularly fitting considering how much Petunia's buried for so many years. How wonderful to see her coming into her own in this way (and Dudley, too!). I hope things work out well for her with Delphine, and that she becomes the woman she's meant to be; it sounds like she's well on her way.
