What a beautiful story of love and friendship, so honest and complex and real. I don't think I've ever read Millicent/Harry before, but I truly loved it here -- their partnership, their banter, the things they both have to overcome, such as Harry's stubbornness in not quitting his marriage and Millie's projecting her own insecurities, so certain that no man will choose her over a more conventionally beautiful woman.
