Yay, Umbridge's POV! That is certainly unusual and unexpected, and most interesting. The reference to the Muggle magazine had me grinning widely, I can SO imagine that! ;o)
I never would have pictured Umbridgte young enough to be Minerva's student, but it's a good idea and works really well. As do the symbolism of the colour pink you accord her, and the meaning of her love for kittens.
Umbridge is all hunger for power and jealousy, and so desperate to get what she craves, yet knows that she has no means of ever getting it. This makes so much sense, and makes her so much more understandable to me now. Great story, and awesome take on the character. I just wish there was more of it! ;o)
