This is one of those unexpected pairing gifts that can come from [info]hp_beholder. Never in a million years would I have thought that I'd not only read Hagrid/Draco but that I'd believe it could happen. But I did and I do.

This story is so bittersweet, so very touching in the way it winds through Draco's 7th and 8th years, plaiting them together and showing us the similarities and contrasts between how Snape and Hagrid each tries to comfort Draco in his own way. And Draco is so beautifully broken in this story in a way that feels IC. So very well done.
