Really good -- a nicely-complex picture of Ron, arrogant and clueless and yet likeable, with appealing vulnerabilities. He's believably older but is still so recognizably the schoolboy of canon. I both felt for him and thoroughly enjoyed his comeuppance.
He felt decidedly non-shallow in admitting he was interested in someone as physically mundane as Millicent. Didn't this show that he was maturing? He could be grown-up when he wanted to.
Hahaha.
I like the broom-making lore, the dreams (so exactly dream-like and Freudian and hot), the broomstick and stroking double-entendres (once you get started with them, they're just irresistible; I can just hear the boys in the Hogwarts dorm, back in third year). And Millicent -- I love your Millicent. Her opening dialogue with Ron is just perfect. Poor boy. No wonder he dreams.
