One sun ray tiptoed over an eyelid and caught in the lashes. Love the exploration of Ron and his surroundings by the sun like this.
Suddenly, she whirled around, and he jumped back to prevent getting impaled on her beaklike nose. Ahhahhah, great line!
Many great lines, but I ended up so involved with the story that of course I forgot to jot them down. Your Muriel is great! Doesn't lose herself at all in the unique romance of hers. :P Griphook was great as well - fantastic scene! Arthur and Arabella were great; the cats kept me laughing too. The details you used were perfect – less on the splitup, more on the pain and healing. Bill was a marvellous character.
The humour in this piece was refreshing, but the reality strung throughout brought it together. I love a story that can deal with serious issues in a manner that allows humour as well.
Wonderful characterisation, pacing, structure, style and story. A pleasure to read!
