a beautiful story of exquisite small moments, pivotal but quiet moments in lives unseen in so much canon and fanon drama.

I love the unraveling of Filius' resolve and seeing the innocent Peter, then contrasted to the adult Pettigrew. Of course Filius denies it could be the same boy!

The sections and their titles add artful pauses, and the language is often lyrical.

Beautifully observed, sweet, sad and true: a magical gift! Thank you, Mystery Writer!
