And just for a second it all made perfect sense – the wide yonder, a dream and a boy.

This is chock full of beautiful prose - I love your writing. And it's a gorgeous, painful story, poised, almost, between what is and what might have been. I really like your Peter, brave in ways we can't see in canon, and the fact that he wins Filius over.

The last line is beautiful.
