Additional Likes and Dislikes
I love strong women, as may be obvious from my requested characters *g*. But I'm also interested in exploring their less sympathetic aspects: Minerva McGonagall, for instance, can be very impatient; Augusta Longbottom can be distant with Neville - and obviously, Petunia Dursley treats Harry disgustingly. Nobody's perfect, and in some cases it's our flaws that make us interesting.
While I'll happily read sex if the story calls for it, I'm not so interested in porn without plot - my focus when reading is generally on characterisation and plot.
I'm pretty flexible on pairings, but I do have rather a fondness for canon pairings, so would appreciate it if Molly and Arthur Weasley were not paired with anyone else unless one of them is (*sob*) dead. Actually, I'm not fond of infidelity generally, unless the characters have to deal with the consequences as part of the story (ie no flagrant infidelity without some kind of indication within the story that the infidelity is wrong).
Please don't pair Sirius Black with anyone except Remus Lupin. :) Apart from that, I'm pretty easy-going, and look forward to reading - this fest is a highlight of my fannish year!
