aksgsjsgjasgjsakahgafa. I read this last night, and I had to leave it twenty-four hours and then come back and read it again before I could be coherent enough to leave a proper review. And I'm still not quite sure I can.
Rita/Severus is quite possibly the closest thing to an OTP I have, and this story is a showcase of why. They're so equally matched, both cunning and clever and more than a little snarky. From his very first sentence of dialogue, Snape is perfect. I love the wandless magic, and Rita's reaction to it. The conversation is tight and wonderful, and especially intriguing on the second read-through.
The sex... omg ajdgshgsjskkslsjs. Mirror!sex and wall!sex in the one fic and I am dead. Rita and mirrors just fits her obvious narcissism so perfectly, and GAH, that was hot as hell.
I love the little details, as well - the colour coordination between clothing, briefcase and book, the ice cube, the folding of the glasses and laying them on the sink. I also love the wandless magic kink. Lovely touch.
