It's true that Arthur and Molly aren't love- or sex-deprived in canon, but I don't usually see much fic about them, either. I like this depiciton of hopelessly uncool Arthur and vibrant Molly. It makes such sense that a wizard with a Muggle obsession would be a "gormless" nerd -- just like a LOTR geek in Muggledom. Or an HP fan g
So many character-revealing, believable touches -- how Arthur "nearly dies of horror" because Molly agrees to go with him to the dance; their first sex (the "unmagicked spell"), their commitment to "practice," Arthur's responses to each child. I never thought of the Gideon/Fabian initials in regard to George and Fred, but of course that works perfectly.
Touching, gentle, hopeful, but not painless -- a fine story.
