This was. So. Awesome! I've been pining on and off recently for fic about characters like Neville and Millicent and so forth, and this was just the ticket. I did think Neville was a bit more erudite than would have been in character, but ate every word of this story up nonetheless.

Especially loved this:
"Oh." Her body slumped, and she spoke quietly to her hands. "I'm used to . . ." She rolled her shoulders.

Perfectly done, there, and it means so much all at once. Thank you.
