Those of you who read my journal regularly are no doubt aware that after ten years being an active participant in the Harry Potter fandom, my attentions have turned in a new fannish direction. I still love HP and all the fantastic people I've come to know, but my day to day involvement in the fandom has come to an end.

Over the past half year, I've let go of most of my HP interests, but HP Beholder posed a particular problem. I didn't want to just shut down the Fest - I loved it too much and it had such a phenomenal group of artists and authors participating in it each year - but I could really only think of one person who was still actively involved in the fandom, who had experience running exchanges, and who had the same (perhaps more?) weird enthusiasm for the all-too-often unloved characters who are at the heart of the HP Beholder exchange: Delphi.

I asked her if she might be willing to take over the Beholder reins - and to my very great joy, she said yes.

On January 16th, the official announcement and the updated guidelines for HP Beholder 2013 will be posted, but until then, please welcome Delphi as the new Beholder mod.
