While compiling the annual stats post for the merry_smutmas exchange, I was struck - and not for the first time - by the fact that there seems to be a class of 'undesirable' HP characters who are almost never allowed to have real relationships in stories or art.

And so I made a post in my journal, asking if there might be any interest in a fic/art exchange which would require that at least one of the characters in the primary pairing be somebody who is commonly thought of as too old or too fat or too ugly for a romantic and/or erotic relationship.

There was, apparently, interest...and this Exchange is the result.
