OH, and also, back to Harry: sending Neville or Percy as his proxies because he's busy doing urgent stuff? a;lskjg. ALSO VERY SEXY AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY.
Um, what else. I liked the Longbottoms subplot, although I think I missed something with the wrappers? Alice was always giving Neville wrappers, and they never thought it meant anything, but what was it really? She had bits of equation written on them? The Pensieve idea was genius, though, and I love how Snape was involved, sort of on the outskirts of the story, in Petunia's childhood memories and then with Lily and Alice during the war. I like the thought of all of them trying to develop advanced magic (with the Pensieves or with Lily's box) to get around the limits put on them during wartime. Really cool.
Oh, also tiny question: at the end, the age difference between Harry and Ginny is five years? Or did I read that wrong?
The Percy development was nicely done, too. At first I was sort of thinking that he wasn't necessary, or a romantic relationship for Petunia wasn't necessary, but now I've changed my mind, because a giant part of her healing and recovery and such is learning to love, and learning to accept love, both romantic and sexual - and non-romantic, too, as with her realising she was a cunt to Harry as a child and didn't give him love, etc. But with Vernon's abuse centering on her feeling badly about her body, in a way, it was nice to see her recover from that with Percy. And I liked that it was still her story, not a pairing story, really, and Percy was sort of off on stage right for so much of it.
Also, casual Bill and Charlie references ftw. :) And Percy thinking all dragon wranglers (wrangers, als;dgjslkg that word ftw) are crude because Charlie is. YES! :) And Fleur giving sex tips, ahahahaha. And unrelated, but Harry getting so upset in the hospital as Neville's parents came back, oh, just, oh. That was amazing.
And now I probably have to split this comment in two, but in sum: ♥ !!! Enjoyed this very much.
