(shedding my sock here) I'm so glad you liked it! I've been fascinated by the complexity of the Albus-Severus and Albus-Aberforth relationships for a long time, and I always enjoy poking at the possibilities. It seemed to me quite plausible that Aberforth and Severus would hit it off, if not for this little problem of Albus between them. Although the little problem is what would most likely bring them together in the first place.
Ah, the bindweed halters. I suspect Severus wished Ab had been a little more inappropriate than he actually was!
