Delightful, the both of them. I love your characterizations -- Tonks' hilarious, spot-on voice (beginning with that perfect young person's "it was so weird") -- and Moody's fierce vulnerability. I laughed aloud at the descriptions of how all Tonks' attempts to serve the tradition backfired (that pinging button, haha). The boot scene was pretty hot, but the bath! It wasn't just the water that was steaming. Yet it's not fluff -- Moody is a layered, complicated man here. Great read.
