Fun! Rufus' inability to grasp his own good luck, Amelia's playfulness, Minerva and Albus' vaguely archaic language, marking them as an older generation, lest we forget Amelia and Rufus still have a long journey ahead of them--such nice details fleshing out the story.

Early crone edging to hagdom Ha! A clever turn of phrase. It made me wince, actually, to suddenly realize just how full the witch-related vocabulary we use to denigrate women is.
