The game, of course, goes on whether they want it to or not.

yes! the grinding wheels of fate - or canon. and that terrible lord-of-the-flies teenage world that forces young people to behave in bizarre ways. i think some of the nuances of the summer hiatus were subconscious (or happily accidental??) while i was writing, so it's great to get the chance to reflect on it.

Peter and Remus only able to interact by talking about Sirius and James
