Oh, these two women are beyond desirable! I like how unafraid and confident they are. Emmeline's Muggle background is a nice touch, and I adore her relationship with her father. He is obviously a very important person in her life, yet they both know how not to intrude into each other's life. A knowledge that she carried over into her relationship with Amelia.

There's something very lush and summer-y about the fic, the atmosphere is so warm, despite the dread and doom that hangs over them and the entire wizarding world. Emmeline's hopes of how Muggles and wizards will live together in peace one day ring very true as ideas of a youthful and idealistic mind. Even though we know how her and Amelia's stories end, the story overall is optimistic and uplifting.
