So many telling details. I hardly know where to begin in praising them. And yet at the same time, sparely and carefully told.
Your portrayal of Remus broke my heart: his memory of missing Christmas, of not being able to run like other boys. And then the aging. Of course, I'd always known that Remus was aging quickly, but somehow I'd never thought of how that compared to wizards who, of course, often live extra long lives, and what that would mean for friendship and love.
And your portrayal of Severus and Minerva was every bit as telling.
