Oh my.
Just gorgeous. I love how you wove the story to fit into canon. It's as if this was the lost bit we never got to see. Poor pining Remus. I felt very sorry for him. No wonder Severus was so upset, he had multiple reasons to be, didn't he?
And your Minerva is enchanting. I can see why she has Remus longing for her, and why Severus is so protective.
The bittersweet ending was perfect for this story, too.
All in all, well done!
