That was interesting! The consideration of wands and how some ingredients for them are harvested is something I find fascinating. I could see Ollivander communing with dragons (& other critters). This is also an interesting look at Pettigrew and how he thinks and operates. The thought of his wand and his mother having been buried with it wasn't one that had occurred to me, but then that makes sense.
"I'll protect you the best I can." Peter said. He held his wand with his silver hand, gripping it tightly as he clutched it to his chest.
"I know you are powerless to his will." Ollivander said. "However, the sentiment will be a comfort to me in the days to come."
A promise that really can't be kept and a comfort that really isn't comforting is very fitting for these two at that time. The ominous tone of Ollivander's warning speaks for itself.
