How nice to see a Sybill who isn't a crank and so filled with self-doubt! What an interesting story you've created for her, with trips to America and studies in comparative prophecy that make her enough of an academic to be interesting to Minerva, and a plausible explanation for what goes on her classroom, too!
And how lovely to find a Minerva less censorious than usual toward divination and one open to communing with Muggle 'witches', especially if it gets her a little closer(!) to her friend. :-) I liked, too how you wove the Muggle feminist movement of the sixties and seventies in there, too, and the impact that the patriarchal Muggle culture had on Minerva's mother was an intriguing aspect of her story. A lovely story, Mystery Author, I really enjoyed it!
