Isobel's conflict, being torn between two worlds, was really well done. It's amazing that it never occurred to her that she might have magical children, or that having to hide her magic might lead to general unhappiness. This was a fresh take on pure-blood arrogance. Thank goodness, Minerva had the presence of mind to think about what she was doing. This was a great read, really well done.
