Hi Tab, for the first time, I get a sense of what you have been hoping to portray...the feeling of hope in the escalalting emotions radiating from Severus, and Harry, even in his nearly moribund state, realising that Sev is really there for him.
I could feel sev's distress when he touched the wound he had made in Harry's chest, and I am sure if Harry had the strength to react, he would have done so at the sight of Sev's bruised face.
Harry is going determined to live until the 25th to save his friends, bu he has to admit accept Sev as a friend and vice-versa. But that is not going to stop the DL ascending is it? I reread the prophecy several times and I cannot see that Harry's admitting Sev is a friend is going to stop the DL's rise to power.
Am eager for the next, as usual because I know you have it all worked out.
