AIM: HideTheDecay (I'm always on. Always. I only RP over AIM. Sorry for anyone that prefers email, googledocs, or others. I don't mind forum RPing and have a site, but I only really do that for prose RPs**.)
What I want to RP:
Marauders era: This is my main muse--to the point of obsession. I will play anyone from that era and slash anyone from that era. I'm completely open to anything we could come up with. I'm most practiced in playing Sirius, but I also have a decent Severus. I've played James and Remus before so that won't be an issue. Some pairings that interest me the most at the moment is (star who I'd want to play):
Sirius*/James*
James*/Remus*
Sirius*/Lily
Severus*/James
I'd also be willing to do a post-Azkaban Sirius*/Harry with the theme of Sirius being insane and mistaking his love for James as love for Harry.
Smut: I smut quite a lot, but it really depends on the characters. Some of my characters couldn't be less interested in sex and some of mine won't stop. That being said, either way, there needs to be plot. As far as squicks go, I don't have any except for excrement. Otherwise bring on the non-con, incest, beastiality, and gore. Before that scares anyone off--those rarely ever occur in my roleplays.
Odds and ends:
**I abhor prose. I use to write it in for years and it's how I learned to RP and I use to be quite the novelist at that. Having said that, I've learned that prose is horrible if you like a quick-paced RPing where a single scene doesn't take a month. I prefer to use an odd sort of script style that I've adapted over the last couple years. As it stands, I've converted four prose RPers to it and they all told me that despite initial reservations, they adore it. Here is a sample of what you can expect from me:
Sirius: -the rest of the afternoon is really pleasant- -they didn't do much else- -just walked- -and occasionally looked in shops- -but for the most part- -their time was spend hand in hand- -making their way into corners of the village they hadn't seen in years- -and as evening began to bleed into the sky- -he turned them around and headed back to the main street- -didn't have anything else in mind- -knows it really had been a simple date- -but thinks that was the charm of it- -so just wanted to stop by the Three Broomsticks for a drink before heading back- -opens the door for Remus again- -letting him walk through first- -notices that it's rather packed- -considering just getting their drinks to go- -glances at his date- Do you want to stay?
They are not always that long and sometimes they are longer. It really just depends how a scene is playing out.
Having said that--I do kind of want to try to get back into the prose just to practice and play with it. However, I am rusty in it so I will probably be rather slow and be victim to many headaches. It really is a form of torture to me, which is unfortunate since it is actually my roots. I am trying to change that. I would much prefer just using my script style so please consider that before asking me to prose with you.
Also, I like dark themes and angst like no one's business. I'm really weird and twisted and so if we could somehow incorporate that in, that would be brilliant. If not, that is fine. |
