Zane nodded to the request. At first he stepped forward and then moved from his position to down the alley, pausing and returning. "It is mind over matter, just move to get to where you want to go without thinking about the in between steps. It is much like what you did when you were human but with the intention being stronger." He instructed.
Sighing, he offered Nigel a smile. "How long has it been for you since you were turned?" The question was more about knowing how to start with him than anything else as it was obvious he was new, but new had a time lapse depending on the situation.
"Come, follow me and we can clean you up so you may be more comfortable." He held out his hand once more, suggesting that the other man take it. If he was unsure about his speed than he would have to hold on to follow Zane back to his apartment. There was no need to stand around a crime scene and wait for the sun to rise.
Zane had it easy when he was a newborn vampire. He had two others to instruct him, protect him as he adjusted to the new life. Zane felt pity that this man should be left alone by his sire and thought that if he ever met the other he would have several choice words for him. Though if the man's sire was anything like his own then it was more a blessing to have been left than to be at his side.
