There were ways to explain this -- unfortunately, most of them involved references to the train. Trying to explain how he'd forgotten nearly a year of his life spent on a kidnapping train was going to be interesting, and he just didn't see Zoe exactly believing all of it. Granted, he could pretend to be just as clueless as she was, but that wasn't right or fair. He had some ideas, he'd been through something like this before, and he could at least share that experience. Then again, this could be nothing at all like the year on the Orient, and Simon exhaled. Standing in the room and overthinking the situation wasn't getting him to Zoe's room any faster, and it wasn't getting her any answers. As he considered that, he suddenly hoped she wasn't armed ... Leaving a note for Kaylee on the bed (though he was sure she'd be able to figure it out from the network), Simon left his room. He moved down the hall to where the door to Zoe's room had been yesterday only to find another door in its place. Running his hand down his face, he looked around until he spotted it. Crossing the hall, he lifted a hand to rap on the wood of the door to wait for her response. While he was sure he could have let himself in, he wasn't interested in pushing any boundaries just now. |
