That thing they called irony ..
Characters: Prim, open
When: Saturday, late morning
Location: 2nd floor hallway
Warnings/Rating: None anticipated
Summary: Prim gets stuck
Status: Open, ongoing
Prim was almost positive this event fell firmly into the category of ironic. Hadn't she just yesterday been teasing Flynn about his comment about them getting complacent? And look what had happened. She had come to rely on the alarm sounds -- but this one must have been about to wear off. She heard a faint sound -- more like a floor creak than an alarm -- and she'd walked right under the sprig of mistletoe. She was, of course, then promptly stuck in place. "Oh, squirrels," she muttered as she pulled her phone out of her pocket. At least she had the sense to carry that around with her whenever she left the room. While she thought about sending a message right to Marvel, she thought there were enough people out there that she'd rescued that might rest easier if they could return the favor. If Marvel replied, that was all well and good, but maybe someone else would be checking their phone faster -- and she was very interested in getting unstuck as fast as possible. Glancing up to the offending plant (which, she did notice, was still harboring an occasional flicker from the other charm it had on it), she made a face at it before sending a message to the network at large. |
